Boohoo: Dress for Autumn Pt 2

One hangover and haircut later I have returned to the blogging world with almost full health and sense (I said almost..). As promised I am here with my part two of Boohoo’s ‘Dress for Autumn’ campaign; jam-packed with bargains and stylish staples I have to say this is one of my favourite looks for this season. If you are a fellow petite lady then these pieces are must haves as once again I have found perfect lengths and fits worth a celebration! (Maybe lay off the wine this time though).

If you missed my Part One look then click here for a peek or a refresher of how I styled the Kourtney High Neck Dress

Since my last outfit post the weather has become remarkably chilly and therefore I definitely wanted to incorporate some layers into the dress without making the outfit lose it’s shape or style. The Boohoo rib knit crop top is a snug fit but ideal for layering on top of the high neckline of the dress and I just adore the Rust shade. It’s available in S/M and M/L, the small is pretty snug and I am a size 6 so it’s worth bearing in mind if you wanted to pick it up (which you SHOULD, I LOVE it).

With a high neck I like to add at least one piece of jewellery and this short and simple necklace from Touchstone Accessories is one of my favourites. I seldom wear gold and silver combinations but my small, silver hoops worked perfectly.

The thigh high boots are from Matalan and choosing the suedette in a grey tone was a last minute decision. I am a hoarder of black fashion and thought that it would be nice to breakaway from that a little bit and love the shade with the grey in the dress. Matalan actually have quite a few cute Winter pieces on their site and I have had to restrain myself from huge hauls despite the amazing prices so it’s worth a little browse if you are looking to refresh your clothes.#11

If you haven’t already then I would highly recommend you check out Boohoo’s petite collection and their layering options as I am so impressed with the fit and styles. I am used to questionable quality when I don’t invest in pieces but I was pleasantly surprised by a £10 and £15 piece.

  1. Adore those boots! They look amazing on you especially with that skirt – I’ve always been too scared to try over the knee boots but I’m tempted this year! Xxx
