Poppy Lux

The color of springtime is in the flowers; the color of winter is in the imagination. ~Terri Guillemets

Black tailoring for work-wear is classic and classy but it can become mundane, and definitely doesn’t do anything to inject much needed colour into Autumn. Florals for Summer are obvious but deep, Winter florals are much more exciting. After entering the job market again I have been on a mission to collect an array of beautiful, smart dresses that can easily take me from office to dance-floor. Poppy Lux have the most adorable range of feminine dresses, blouses and tees not to mention the most incredible trench coat.####1  POPPY LUX TARSHA FLORAL TULIP SHIFT DRESS £36*

I used to hide my true self under fake tan, bleached hair and copious amounts of eye make-up, but as time has gone on I have realised that natural is best, it is what I was born with and I should embrace it. I have ditched the bronzer and let my natural pale skin show, dyed my hair to a red brown hue and dropped the lashes and liner look to let my blue eyes show. I chose this dress based on my hair and eye colour as I love how the blue really pops on the tulip dress. Blue was the central colour for me which is why I paired suede Roland Cartier heels and a shoulder bag.

It’s available in sizes 6-16 and is very true to size, it comes just above my knee but as I am 5 foot 3 it would be much shorter depending on your height making it more apt for drinks or a night out. ####3
