I never used to understand women who would collect shoes, even up until a week ago I vowed to myself that I wasn’t really bothered about shoes…that was until I realised I rotate about 3 pairs of shoes but actually in fact own over 90 pairs. In life I like to simplify my belongings, gut out my wardrobe to pieces I can actually *see* and wear, but when it comes to shoes I can’t seem to part with them. Instead of rotating my very slim collection that I actually wear I would like to pick up some perfect cold weather, Autumnal coloured footwear, but forget Primark pieces that last a month or maybe less, I want to invest in quality, longer lasting pieces.
I have searched the web for my top 5 picks of Autumn shoes, from heels to flats and the most perfect leather boots!
Melissa is a brand I fell in love with last Autumn particularly with the Vivienne Westwood collaboration that showcased the cutest ankle Wellington boots featuring a stand out tartan patch and the well known gold logo at the back. This year the flats were on my radar starting with the loafers in the sale at only £34.99 at the moment, the purple flock detail is perfect for the colder months but also proves as a great wardrobe staple. The hottest flats for the Autumn 2015 release for me are the Flower Queen pumps with a stunning nude, floral embellishment contrasting with the black rubber. The Ultragirl peep toes are just £50 at the moment and have a sweet scented pink metallic rubber (yes you heard me right, scented! And it smells gorgeous).
The brand that really won me over the most was Michael Kors, not really a surprise when their watches and handbags have been on my unachievable wishlist for a while, but the Leather Court Shoes are heavenly and currently £70 instead of £130, they prove as perfect work shoes and a little class to a lunch outfit. I saved the best until last for you because these Leather Knee Boots are an absolute must-have, admittedly they are a little pricey (ok quite pricey) but they are my dream, the ultimate shoe porn!
