Stitched Up

##1  Due to Pete’s operation we’ve had somewhat of a premature Summer but somehow seemed to lap up all of the hot weather; many a day was spent sunning ourselves at the beach or the park. Worthing has some pretty beautiful spots to visit, and on trips to the hospital there is a beautiful, flower abundant park with a newly renovated cafe overlooking the bowls green proving as the perfect stop along.

As each season arrives instead of neatly packing my clothes away in a box or for storage, due to living in a small flat it seems to end up in my local charity shops at frustration over lack of space- this then lends to quarterly shopping trips and wardrobe overhauls. This year my pennies were set on New Look’s Festival offerings and one of my favourite hot weather purchases is this Stone Pointelle Knit Split Side Vest (£8 in the sale at the moment too!) I succumb to all the Summer trends eventually, and this year I’ve really become obsessed with side split tees and of course anything crochet style.
##2  ##4  Top: New Look £8

Shorts: Topshop (Old) £5

Sunglasses: Carrera 5024S £89

Bag: Topshop (Old) £6

Necklace: Warehouse

Sandals: Everything 5 Pounds

##5 Occasionally I am pretty nifty with the sales and last Christmas I bagged these Suede side lace up shorts from Topshop for £5…Yes you heard me right literally £5 AND they were part of the Kate Moss collection, so when they arrived I was beaming. I thought I could whip them out over Winter with black tights but really sitting tight and holding out for Summer was worth it as it meant not having to spend out on over priced suedette or lace up pieces- woohoo!
