After sharing with you guys my favourite sunglasses picks from Avenue 32 here I mentioned that I personally believe you get what you pay for when sun-glass shopping which is why I like to invest in a good pair for protection and style. Ray-bans never let me down, whether it’s my reading glasses, classic wayfarers or my newest addition to my collection the Ray-Ban 4222 Lily Sunglasses. The Ray-Ban Lily Collection features a modern interpretation of retro frames paired with over-sized rounded lenses with a selection of red, blue, green and violet mirrored lenses (£93), whilst also offering classic black and dark rubber havanas (£85).
The dark rubber havana Ray-Ban Lily’s RRP is £94 but Sunglasses shop stock them at just £85 and offer a price match guarantee service which is awesome for us bargain hunters (just bear in mind you can’t price match from unauthorised dealers and auction sites). They will also arrive for free next day delivery if you spend over £80 like you would on these babies (perfect if you are an antsy onlne shopper and want it to all arrive IMMEDIATELY…guilty as charged).
Initially I was apprehensive about the rounded frames suiting my face shape but now they’ve arrived I am adamant they are flattering for any shape. The sunglasses are made of soft rubber and I specifically chose tortoiseshell as it’s a classic design that I will be forever buying (or at least it seems that way!). I love the inclusion of the Ray-Ban logo on the single lens of the glasses and the fact that they are packed with UV400 protection which is ideal on the super sunny days we have been lucky enough to swindle. They come with a two year manufacture guarantee which ensures that your money is well spent, as I think they are great value anyway.
In case you struggle with the fitting of sunglasses and needed a little help then the measurements are:
Delivery and returns at the sunglasses shop are FREE and you have a whopping 365 days to decide on your purchase. Everything they sell comes directly from the brand themselves so you don’t have to worry about authenticity. They are definitely the first site I check out for any sunglasses purchases and with an ever expanding collection I can’t see myself stopping any-time soon.
