One of my new favourite sites to shop on is Missi Clothing. I am always conscious to shop on a site which is a British Manufacturer and Wholesaler but also with a gorgeous selection of Fashion picks to feed my addiciton; Missi Clothing ticks all those boxes for me. They supply to High street, Independent stores and Boutiques around the world & have been going strong since their launch in 2004. They have also recently introduced a plus size range alongside a new accessories to selection to their ever growing range, and are ensuring that they reach out to all women of different shapes & sizes.
One thing that really enticed me to the site was the range of celebrity inspired outfits, and the beautiful selection of going out clothes. I am always drawn to buy everyday outfits, whether it be smart, casual or chic but always seem to neglect my ‘going out wardrobe’, well Missi Clothing now have this covered for me & I now have a super glitzy new sequin bodycon dress.
With me being me, I decided that I HAD to create two different looks with this dress; dress codes vary for different events, and sometimes you don’t want to be TOO over dressed, and other times you really want to show off your glam side.
Dress it down
You know that invite you get where you are asked to go SMASUAL, what does this even mean?! I vote wear what you want without turning up in a ball gown, which is why I love layering for this sort of invite, number one you can take the jumper off if everyone else has gone all glitz and glam, yet you can also looked relaxed enough even when some people are in jeans. I don’t think I could not wear cleated soles, and am a little bit obsessed with these New Look wonders, & think they look great with my Missi Clothing dress. Layering is a great idea if you want to re wear something too and feel a little bit self conscious about being spotted out.
This has to be my favourite way to style my sequin dress. I rarely have the time or invitation to really dress up properly, and when I do get the chance I LOVE it. I like to wear deeper colours, especially as Autumn is on it’s way, so have included a few berry colours & reds with my favourite patterns. This dress has a really nice fit, and despite being a size up from what I usually order I actually feel comfortable in this. When wearing something quite stand out but with a darker colour ie dark, then I don’t like to use too many clashing prints, but incorporating one or two can work really well, and this floral and checked clutch bag seemed the perfect option, I haven’t had a chance to use it out yet and I LOVE it.
