Clashing prints OOTD

The sun has arrived, the wind has died down & the seafront seems ever more appealing; what more could I want?! Okay, perhaps 16-18 degrees isn’t raging heat, but after living in blankets, Pajamas & dressing gowns it’s refreshing to actually want seaside air (despite living literally on top of it).

I know that some people saw the sun as a liberation to wear crop tops & high waisted, flossing shorts but I realised that just because the sun is out the seafront tends to uphold a chilly breeze that needs to be combatted. I went for a lot lighter colours today with the inclusion of some minor clashing prints as Summer is about fun!

I went for a naturally curly look today as my hair has been frazzled enough from heat torture, and didn’t bother to even combat frizz. I chose a light coral lipstick as my red’s are now a little harsh for summer time, and paired with lighter make-up.

My glitter cream boucle jacket is Primark, on top of my Topshop ‘sweeties’ cami, tucked into my New Look high waisted jeans, finished with my Dorothy Perkins pastel bag. My sunglasses are George at Asda and my court shoes are the overworn Dorothy Perkins.

I love light colours & I love pastels but sometimes it can all be a bit too over sickly. This is why I usually opt for a darker lip, however today I have chosen a clashing tortoiseshell print for the nails as I love the print, it goes perfectly with the sunglasses but gives an edge with just the accent nails alone.
