F&F Spring Perk ups
If you hadn’t already guessed from the collage, I may have purchased a small haul from F&F clothing at Tesco which by the way was totally unavoidable…
I feel like I’m constantly buying outerwear & beauty products which ends up neglecting my underwear & accessories necessary refreshment. They can make such a difference to mood, an outfit and confidence. With all this considered I decided it was time to completely Spring clean my underwear draw, and after reluctantly parting with my Guess bag I decided it was replacement time on a smaller scale.
How amazing is the price tag on this bag? I picked it purely because of the contrasting colours & the image of sports luxe it seemed to represent, so with a price tag like that I couldn’t really resist. The fabric feels very high quality, & I can’t wait to pair with some outfits & see how much the colour pops. It has plenty of room & I love the ability to use it as handheld or a shoulder bag.
I nabbed this gorgeous set in the sale, which was actually the only sale item I received that hadn’t been cancelled. It reminds me of the sets in Accessorize & is just so perfect to make you feel pretty, especially if you need a boost. I know the nights still have a chill, but when I’m particularly having a bad patch with my illness very small things like this work a treat! I love the split front & the comfiness of the French knickers.
In terms of cheap underwear I know for a fact this isn’t the cheapest you can get, but for the quality & design I think it’s great value for money. I chose the mint green as I think pastels are so flattering under and outerwear, especially with the gorgeous polka dot design. The knickers fit like a glove, yet for some reason the cups on the bra do not sit right with me at all. I have always been a C/D cup & so I thought I’d be safe purchasing a C.. But this was far too big, a little confidence crushing in fact. However the silky soft fabric did comfort me, but I would definitely advise opting for a size smaller.
I know that underwear as outerwear loves making a comeback, but this is strictly sleepwear/lingerie purposes in my eyes as its pretty revealing itself, and bulky to wear under clothes. The colour is so soft and flattering, and the cut is perfect. It’s very sexy, yet so comfortable, I am overjoyed I picked this up for £12 when I’ve had items like this from Ann Summers that don’t even compare.
Unlike the gorgeous pastel set this bra fitted me perfectly. The sizing seemed to be on point & didn’t fail to please me. The light, silk floral design will be ideal with a tan & makes a change from my all black routine.
My first shopping experience with F&F went pretty well on the whole. The items are fairly priced, and my delivery took 3 working days to arrive. Downside: they cancelled sale items the day before like other stores have done to me previously and it really hacks me off!
Have you ever shopped at F&F? Did you like my haul?
